Working in Accounting Center provides and leads and motivates to efficiency, gains from harmonized and centralized processes and systems.
Begin your career in one of the major global players as a Financial Specialist for US GAAP Accounting at IBM:
A Financial Specialist in IBM produces financial statement in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US-GAAP). He/she assures true recording and summarization of IBM´s business transaction and events (Europe/Middle East/Africa). Furthermore he/she provides information used by management of a business entity for decision making (international customer) as well as prepares financial statements for external users i.e. investors (external customer). A Financial Specialist in IBM also creates information in order to meet regulatory/fiscal requirement (local laws and rules).
In IBM´s International Accounting Center of Excellence in Bratislava we offer assignments in following areas:
Accounting for Balance Sheet (Analysis and control of balance sheet accounts, exchange rates analysis, consistency with IBM´s currency guidance)
Accounting for Services (Analysis and control of services revenue and cost streams)
Accounting for HW and Inventory (Analysis and control of HW revenue/cost. Analysis and control import and export of inventories)
Accounting for Expenses (Analysis and control of actual expenses in IBM)
Accounting for Accounts Receivables (Analysis, control, reporting and risk assessment of account receivable from invoicing until cash receipt)
Accounting for Treasury/Bank (Analysis and control of treasury accounting process including cash, negative cash and inter-company floats analysis, advisory on cash related guidance)
